Strategic Management and Planning Unit

Strategic Plan: It contains planning which includes the public administrations’ medium and long-term purposes, basic principles and policies, targets and priorities, performance criteria, methods to be followed so as to access them, and resource allocations. REGULATION on the WORKING PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES of the STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT UNITS Strategic management and planning function Article 6

 The tasks to be carried out within the scope of strategic management and planning function are as follows:

a) to create a preparatory program for the strategic planning studies of the administration, to perform or provide training and consultancy services that will be needed in the strategic planning process of the administration and to coordinate the strategic planning studies.

b) to carry out other support services related to the strategic planning.

c) to prepare the administration activity report.

d) to perform the studies on determining the mission of the administration.

e) to examine external factors that will affect the services regarding the matters within the administration’s field of duty.

f) to determine the new service opportunities and to take measures against threats that hinder effectiveness and efficiency.

g) to do intra-institutional capacity research, to analyze the effectiveness of services and beneficiary satisfaction and to conduct general researches. h) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the administration.

i) to conduct the research-development activities regarding the administration’s field of duty.

j) to collect, sort out and analyze the information and data regarding the activities of the administration.
